Inspecting Nodes & Media

Select a node to examine its description, metadata, media, and relationships.

The detail view can include:

  • Title and description for the selected item.
  • Metadata and tags describing its categories and properties.
  • Images, video, audio, or other media associated with the node.
  • Related nodes that can be selected to continue exploring.

In universes where editing is available, you can also open the editing controls from this view. See Editing Nodes & Collections.

The media area adapts to the content attached to a node. It may display images, embedded or file-based video, audio, text chapters, or specialized interactive media. When several items are available, use the media selector to switch between them.

Some media includes chapters or segments. Use the chapter selector to jump directly to the relevant section without leaving the node.

Connected and related nodes appear alongside the current item. Select one to travel there; your current filters and visualization remain available as you move through the network.
