Editing Nodes & Collections
Correct and enrich node metadata, then organize related nodes into collections.
Editing a node
Section titled “Editing a node”Open a node and choose Edit, or open the node tools from the main editing interface. Depending on the universe, editable fields can include:
- Name and description.
- Tags and category values.
- Dimension values such as genre, creator, or source.
- Media and other identity fields.
Suggestions can help you reuse values that already exist in the universe. Review changes before adding a new spelling or category so similar values do not become fragmented.
Edits are saved in your browser and applied over the original universe data.
Collections
Section titled “Collections”Collections are personal groupings of nodes. Use them to gather research, create a shortlist, or prepare a set of items for another task.
- Add the current node to a collection from its detail view.
- Open Saved to browse collections and return to them later.
- Use collection management to rename groups, remove items, or work with several nodes at once.
Export your universe when you need a portable backup of edits and collections. See Importing Data & Exporting Bundles.
