01 The purpose
Most research tools ask you to read one item at a time or reduce a collection to rows and columns. Cronologies keeps the individual material visible while adding spatial context: similar ideas cluster, explicit links connect, and time can become another dimension of the same universe.
The name reflects one of those lenses. A chronology shows change through time; Cronologies lets you compare that view with semantic, geographic, categorical, and graph-based arrangements without rebuilding your data.
