Create Your Own Universe
Connect your data, have Cronologies extract meaning out of it, and then visualize/explore. For a quick walkthrough of creating your first universe, see Getting Started
How do I add/refresh data?
Section titled “How do I add/refresh data?”From the Toolbar Actions, click “Add” to get to the data import view.
What you can create
Section titled “What you can create”- Edit node descriptions, tags, dimensions, and other metadata.
- Organize nodes into collections.
- Add or remove connections between nodes.
- Define dimensions and category hierarchies.
- Import data and export a portable universe bundle.
- Record routes that other people can replay as guided journeys.
Most tools are available from Edit, Add, Saved, or directly from a selected node.
Where your work is saved
Section titled “Where your work is saved”Edits and imported universes are saved in your browser. They are private to that browser profile and are not automatically visible to other users or devices.
Export a bundle regularly when the work matters. A bundle provides a portable backup that you can keep, transfer to another browser, or share with someone else.
Clearing browser data or using private browsing can remove local work that has not been exported.
